Art Conservation & Handicraft

I specialize in monument conservation. I carry out the restoration of works of art and work on sacred and secular objects, applying traditional techniques, including the repair of wood and stone, metal, as well as gilding and polychromy. I combine conservation knowledge with sculptural practice.

Image: Boundary

Boundary

Sculpture reveals the fragility of the human form and the transience of its physical shell. The surface texture, oscillating between realism and decay, evokes the slow erosion of matter and the passing of time. Meeting point of body and spirit.

Alter Alterum Docet

The work depicts two figures reaching out to shake hands. For me, this gesture symbolizes the exchange of knowledge and experience, as well as the relationships that shape us as much as the craft itself.

Big Trumpet Tribute

The sculpture, initially serving as a symbolic object of contemplation, ultimately enters public space as an advertisement for a wind instrument repair service.

Image: Immature

Immature

As an autonomous single figure, it acquires a distinct meaning – the gesture of the protruding tongue introduces a tone of defiance and satire, becoming an expression of critical commentary on the surrounding reality.

ProŻak

Everyday life loses balance as the figure merges with an object. The raised table and absence of a chair create unreality. It’s an auto-ironic metaphor for student life—fatigue, the illusion of freedom, and human weaknesses.

Putto Della Musica

The traditional decoration of a tiled stove became a pretext for a small synthesis of arts.

Image: Stereographic Projection

Stereographic Projection

The work Stereographic Projection refers to the principle of projecting three-dimensional space onto a flat surface, drawing on the concept of stereographic mapping. A three-dimensional image of a face has been transformed into a flat, oval form resembling a map – a topography of the human visage.

Image: The Blind

The Blind

The blind ones do not see, yet they feel. Their unawareness becomes a metaphor for the endless human pursuit of understanding — fragile, distorted, but essential to our existence.

Image: Pretext

Pretext

Pretext speaks of exhaustion, the loss of vitality in a world saturated with stimuli and absurdity. A pop-culture symbol of laughter becomes a figure of powerlessness – a grotesque monument to fatigue, where irony gives way to quiet reflection on the condition of contemporary humanity.

The Game of Grimaces

The Game of Grimaces - Every gesture, every shift in expression, is a fragment of a subconscious narrative—a mosaic of feelings we cannot always name. The face becomes a canvas on which our inner states are visualized, and body language a subtle play of signs and symbols.

Image: The Wise Fool

The Wise Fool

This ambivalent figure, balancing between absurdity and insight, becomes a tool for reflection on a world where comedy and tragedy constantly intertwine. In this work, the jester is no longer merely a figure of jest, but a subversive commentator on reality.

Universal Emotion

“Universal Emotion” explores facial expression as a form of communication. The face-inspired form reveals a hidden word—a metaphor for universal feelings—blending grotesque elements with a distinctly Polish cultural context.
